Pudding Pie

I found this recipe on Pinterest a few years ago and had to immediately try it out. It looks super messy but if you love chocolate, it’s worth the mess. I have made it quite a few times and each time, I’ve tweaked the recipe just a little based on what I like. This version is how I make it all the time now and I couldn’t keep it all to myself.

1 tube Cookie Dough

8 oz Cream Cheese

1 cup Confectioners’ Sugar

2 tubs Cool Whip

3 cups Milk

1 Chocolate Pudding Mix

1 Vanilla Pudding Mix

Chocolate Chips

  • Layer 1

Mix cream cheese and confectioners’ sugar until smooth

Add 1  3/4 cups of cool whip, mix until smooth

  • Layer 2

Mix milk with chocolate and vanilla pudding mixes

Whisk until smooth

Preheat oven to 350ºF

Grease pan, then spread the cookie dough evenly on the bottom

Bake for 15 minutes

  • Check the cookie while it cooks, depending on the size of your pan, and if you want the cookie softer or crispier – cooking time will vary

Let Cool

When the cookie is cool, add Layer 1 evenly on top

Add Layer 2 the same way

Put the rest of your cool whip on top

Distribute chocolate chips on top to your liking

Refrigerate for at least 8 hours before eating
