End Of Summer Thoughts
Just going to quick ramble…
I am currently sitting here on the couch, watching Brandon and the boys play a video game, and all I can think about is the beach… When this post goes up in the morning, Labor Day will have passed and summer is officially over. We had a good one this year; even though it feels like it flew by.
We spent a lot of our summer at the beach, and if you know me, you know I have no problem with that. Our family vacation was spent at Ocean Walk in Daytona; it is where we go every year now. It’s definitely our home away from home. We always go the week after July 4th because it is less crowded and I feel like we get to just chill out more.
The bubs started middle school this year, and it still throws me off that they go back to school in the beginning of August. Also, how are they in 6th grade already?! Yet another reason why I love summer, we get to spend more time with them and as they get older, I cherish those times more than ever.
Now that I have made myself all teary-eyed thinking about the boys growing up, I’m gonna stop. I hope you all had a great summer and made some great memories.
