Prosciutto-Wrapped Apples

I love recipes that are easy to make; I love being in the kitchen, but sometimes I just want to be able to put something together super quick and get back to whatever I was doing. This recipe is great for a grab-n-go, but the best part is that it is absolutely delicious. And we all know that everything is better when it’s simple and delicious.

Just a quick note: This is something that you kind of have to eat immediately because of the apples, so if you’re making it for a snack, maybe cut the recipe in half so you don’t waste any food. And then that leaves you with more to make another snack with later.

2 Large Honeycrisp Apples (or 3 sweet apples), unpeeled and cored

2 cups Arugula

8-oz Sharp White Cheddar Cheese, cut into 1-inch slices

2 Packages (3-oz each) thinly sliced Prosciutto, torn into strips

1/4 cup Balsamic Glaze

Cut apples into wedges, about 10 per apple

Layer a few arugula leaves on an apple wedge

The add a slice of your cheddar cheese on top of that

Wrap the stack with a strip of prosciutto

Put on a plate and repeat for all of your wedges

Lastly, drizzle all the apples with the balsamic glaze
